Sekhukhune TVET College Skills Centre

Sekhukhune TVET College Skills Centre is officially launched and established in partnership with Wholesale & Retails SETA, in Acquaville, Groblersdal town as a cutting edge for the skills developmental learning centre in line with the Skills Development Act 97 of 1998.

The centre is established in partnership with Wholesale & Retail SETA to provide the much needed skills in engineering, agricultural-farming, information technology, hospitality and any other skills required by the employers and SA economy and officially opened in 2023.

The centre is equipped with the State-of-the-art learning facilities to provide education in the Commercial, Technical, Vocational, Engineering, Information Technology, Hospitality, Accommodation services and agricultural studies (livestock, poultries, plant production and agricultural retail hub or pack house) programmes.

The primary goal and the vision is to bridge the gap between theory and practical applications by providing students with essential basic and technical skills for the workplace whilst on the other hand producing qualified trade artisans in various engineering fields.

The Skills centre does not offer the traditional courses offered at TVET colleges such as NCV (National Certificate Vocational) and Report 191 or Nated N1 – N6 studies.
